Pre 0.0.1.00 - Progress Reports

The 0.0.1.00 update is not really a big deal in terms of content like the previous update, but it is changing the whole over world system. The new control hub system acts as in a way to control the party and area exploration. This overhaul completely removes the birds eye view / tiled maps in favor of something that to can be procedural generated, and influenced by the player. The new system is setting the foundation for something with replay-ability. A core goal for the game.

The new hex system is modular and helps with transitioning between the WIP state and a RELEASABLE state. Previously when a new enemy was created, a new area in the map was also created for it, spawn points, map sprites, and other map screens needed to be altered as well. Which moved the game to an "unplayable state". Now new content like encountering brand new enemies can be dropped into the game with out changing any other assets.

Ultimately this affects update frequency. A very subjective question: How much time should the developer "invest" returning the game to a playable state every week, two weeks, or month?

We're settling on mostly monthly updates. Very vague, I know, but now that there is a patreon some sort of routine should be put in place (Also keep in mind there is a Trello (updatable task list) as well). Que Progress Report:
Which will be a little show and tell system for those not following consistently.
